Our Wing Chun Kung Fu is:
It simple, direct and smart.
We train to develop the skill of internal wing chun, the stance and the state of the body.
It is yogic in nature, body structure and alignment plus relaxation.
The application is fast, effective and can be brutal.

What you need to know.
It is smart, you do not need to be big and it will help you protect and appreciate your body. Against an equally skilled practitioner in another style it's more than just competitive it's one of the best martial arts I have seen and very hard to beat.
It is so simple it's brilliant,
develop confidence and self-defence basically whilst:
Maintaining your natural postural alignment, feel good and marvel at what your body can do.
Delivering your body mass, you do not need to be big to be effective.
Relaxing and meditating, calming your mind helps, itβs yogic in its nature.
It's so direct its devastating!
Relax so that you can react fast and feel.
Do not rely on your physical strength.
Strike and move delivering your body mass.
Aim to take the shortest distance.
Use and protect your centreline.
Simultaneously attack and defend.

What you need to overcome.
Beginners can learn great applications quickly but mastering Wing Chun is hard and takes time.
Despite being simple and direct many people struggle to let go and learn it! Why?
Because in today's modern society people like to over complicate things!
Muscle memory takes time to develop as well as to forget!
Wing Chun is like yoga, you need to relax and develop calmness, silencing the monkey mind is hard.
Many people have poor posture and it takes time to relax your joints/muscles and to develop your correct body alignment.
It's a life time journey but well worth it if that's how you roll.
Our Wing Chun is internal.
Internal is eternal, the amazing things I have seen are from the internal generation of force, it reduces the need or the advantage of extra body mass.
Because of this Wing Chun can suit the smaller less muscular person, it suits women and was invented by a women. This does not mean you can't be strong it just means that the strong need to rewire their thoughts and reflexes which many times is an interesting task and a journey.
The upshot is it's awesome, easy to learn but hard to master and consequently not for everyone, a bit like yoga ;)
